Review on 💻 Mistel Doubleshot PBT Keycaps: 108 Keys Plus Extra 11 Set for Cherry MX Switches & Clones, OEM Profile, Black, PC Gaming Keyboard by Summer Zitzner

Keycaps are very important to me. Leopold is known for his extraordinary double-shot masterpieces. Like many others, I bought a Leopold board to eventually assemble keycaps as it still costs less than premium key sets of similar quality. These mistletoes are the first keycaps to get the same itch. You are fantastic. The legends are perfect, the feel of the soft PBT is elastic and just feels good when rubbed. Sensitive fingers are rewarded. I measured 1.39mm compared to 1.44 on the Leopold. It doesn't sound like a huge difference, but the slightly lighter Mistel delivers the same sound and feel, but lets more of the premium Switch personality through. The kit comes with everything you need for a few different setups (see reviewer who posted a full tray). Mistel does a 75%, tkl, and full size split, so this set includes all uppercase for those settings, and most 96% of keyboards with normal + and 0 . It even has my favorite: a padlock with all capital letters. Mac users might want a little more, but Windows users will only be missing the menu button. Don't be offended by other kits at this price point but you won't find anything remotely close to this quality in this range. Because Mistel makes keyboards, they can sell them as an affordable alternative to their standard colors. I think it's incredibly smart to sell them individually at such an affordable price. The quality of this $45 purchase has already made me want to take a look at one of their keyboards. Edit: What you just read was my review of their classic black. Mistel has since released the default color, Glaze Blue, which I bought right away. These keys are excellent and look even better than the pictures. I didn't appreciate the name Glaze until I saw her in the sun. Blue has subtle depth and subtlety, almost layered. I was concerned that the colors might stand out too much, but they are less saturated than online photos and go really well with everything on my desk. My Drop Shift's space gray color goes well with it, and the yellow underside highlights any lighting to make the legends stand out. Also great customer service! According to Mistel, my black set was released in an earlier time. I later found that the spacebar was 1mm too narrow for some of my keyboards, causing a bit of stickiness before smearing the hits (otherwise it was perfect and worked in most of my KBs). Mistel immediately sent a new spacebar, explaining that all sets are now made from recycled molds. In fact, the space in my blue set from below has noticeably updated and works great. The keycaps themselves are as pristine as ever and I no longer use my Leopold keycaps. Upon arrival, triple check everything. My blue set looked like the package had opened up a bit and the 1.75 unit layer was missing. Both Revain and the seller responded immediately, a replacement kit is on the way, no questions asked. I get nothing for bullshit about these caps other than the satisfaction of sharing a truly excellent product and encouraging the company to continue offering a premium product at affordable prices. I hope Mistel continues with more colors. If I buy another set, I get three premium key sets for the price of one group purchase set.
