They were actually quite comfortable and connected to my cell phone without any problems. The construction is decent. The problem is in the tone. After listening to MP3s for half an hour, my ears were completely exhausted from the uncomfortable onslaught of sound. NOTHING sounded good with these headphones - vocals were always completely drowned out by over-emphasized boomy bass, making everything sound muddy and unnatural. They don't produce deep bass, although it wasn't what I was looking for, just a clear and reasonably accurate representation of my favorite music. By switching to another music app with a built-in equalizer, I was able to get a much more pleasing sound by reducing the low frequencies at 60Hz and 150Hz by 6dB or more. Extremely disappointing.
