Although these geometric bodies look a lot like real Montessori bodies, the workmanship is a little imperfect I think due to the inferior materials used in their manufacture. cheaper price. However for the price I feel like at least my items should have arrived safe and sound. As you can see from my attached photos many of the pieces arrived chipped or peeled off and I don't think they will last very long for my son even with regular wear. We are currently using it for homeschooling so it does the job but I am not happy with the quality. I could add another $20 for authentic ones from top Montessori brands and they would have done well in elementary and junior high. You can also pass it on to younger family members. Three stars because I benefit from them and they are designed to mimic Montessori geometric solids.
