So far they will meet my needs. I carry a prescription and was hoping it would help me avoid buying prescription glasses. You will work in the short term. I find it very convenient. I love that they have a shield that covers the area around the eyes better than most. I have such an eye disease that it can take a long time to heal if the cornea is scratched. I feel that these glasses are very good at preventing anything from getting in my eyes. I found it difficult to wear regular goggles over prescription glasses. This puts too much pressure on the back of the ears and temples. Goggles solve this problem. There's just some distortion, not enough to spoil the detailed nature of my metalworking, but it's noticeable. So I can take a break from work and look at the room. This is a good short-term solution, but not a long-term one. They keep me going until I save enough to buy prescription glasses.
