Stereo routing with fewer parts!

Everything in my current setup runs on 1/8" stereo cables and plugs, so I didn't want to complicate things by running speaker wire and crimping the plugs. This allowed me to use a pre-made 15- Using foot stereo jumper cables to route audio from the source room end to the speaker room end through the basement.Apart from the negative aesthetic of running cables in the room itself, this would also mean running cables through one of the two sills, through which normal foot traffic passes (a big no-no in terms of security) alongside HDMI keystones in the same wall panels for a simple and clean look A satisfying click is heard when the cable is plugged in (it takes a little Kraft, so don't be alarmed). The white plastic capstone goes well with most white wall panels.Be sure to trot it Not to be used with RCA jacks due to its looks (this shouldn't damage it as RCA pins are shorter than stereo ones, but better safe than sorry).

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Bulky
