Very nice gift box! For the past few Christmases I've invested in reusable gift boxes that are already decorated so there's no need to wrap them. Sure, gift bags can be used for this, but I love that gift boxes look prettier under the tree, and they can also be tied with knots to keep sycophants and spies out of the way until December 25th. With gift bags, it's too easy for scoundrels and spies to pick up tissue paper and see what's inside. In the case of gift boxes, this problem is solved by using a ribbon that is crossed on all four sides and knotted at the top. Now wrapping is so much quicker and easier and all I have to do is tie ribbons and bows instead of cutting, folding and gluing the wrapping which has become such a huge task over the years. This box is perfect for this purpose, it's a great time saver. The box is nice and sturdy and should last year after year. I chose black with gold accents, it's very sophisticated and beautiful. The box arrived flat with no folding instructions, but no folding instructions were needed. Basically, it just snaps into place. Look at the box yourself for 10-15 seconds and you will easily figure it out. Love the magnetic closure, it's a nice touch as is the inside lid that says 'Merry Christmas' so the recipient can see when they open the box. The box will begin to fold when opened. This can be fixed by gluing the sides together, but I like being able to fold it back up after Christmas as my collection of reusable gift boxes takes up a decent amount of storage space. When folded, this box takes up much less space than typical decorated gift boxes that don't fold. Overall this is a nice sturdy box that folds into a box and folds back easily. The magnetic closure works well. This box is a very nice gift option that doesn't require time-consuming wrapping. Ideal!
