This is no ordinary stainless steel glass. It's actually plastic on the outside. . . and stainless steel inside. That makes it a lot easier. . .but. . it also means your drinks won't stay hot/cold as long. But. . . I don't know many people who leave drinks for hours. This glass is 6.25 inches high. The base is 2.5 inches in diameter and the top is 3.25 inches. Unfortunately there is no silicone/rubber on the bottom so it's pretty slick. Although the outside of the plastic is pretty smooth too. . . it's still not hard to hold. This product can only be hand washed. If you don't already have a bottle brush, you can buy one separately for super easy cleaning. The lid fits perfectly. The open/close tab slides easily. Although this item does not include the straw. . . one will do if you want to use it. Although this product is made in China. . . S'well is an American company. At the current price of thirty dollars, this thing is insanely expensive. . . but in general. . . I like it.
