I bought two night lights almost a year ago and they still work as good as ever. They are not too bright, they create the right atmosphere and cosiness without disturbing my sleep. They are very cute, look exactly as pictured and blend seamlessly with different colors. Each mushroom also has a different color. They are effectively light sensitive and the sensor is on the underside. If you place them in a dark place, they will light up. Even if you just want to illuminate a dimly lit area without turning off the light, you can do it. I've had a few instances of sitting in the dark that have been constant for months and won't go away. If for some reason you want them to be on in a brighter place, you can just block the sensor at the bottom with something and it will stay on. The mushrooms seem to be able to move around a bit as the legs are a little flexible, although I wouldn't flex them too much. Okay if you want to straighten them out a bit, but you probably shouldn't bend them into sharp angles or bend them too much, I'd recommend straightening them out just a bit, no more. The only issue I had with these lanterns was that one of the mushroom caps came off one of them when storing it in a box and having to move it around a lot. However, I found it was easy to put back on so it didn't actually break.
