Purchased for use with the 2020 MacBook Air M1. The HDMI output did not plug and play into the computer and all attempts to install third party drivers to make the device work were unsuccessful. I have several other key based port expansion devices, all of which have worked with varying degrees of reliability. out of the box to connect an external monitor.
