I bought this cable to extend USB from an electronic drum module in a room in my studio to the control room. I need about 25-30 feet of USB cable, but most importantly it shouldn't have any signal dropouts. When tracking drums on this electronic kit, I had no dropouts, digital errors, repetitive signals, etc. - this was critical for correctly triggering drum sound samples during recording. This cable did everything I needed flawlessly and is much better quality than I expected. I have pro audio cables and other pro USB cables that aren't that thick! The durable woven outer shell looks like it will be used in the recording studio for years. During testing, I also used it to stream audio from a high-quality 96,000 sample rate recording interface, and I had no latency issues, digital noise, or artifacts in the audio recordings.
