i bought this chair in february, now in december. I have never put a lumbar support on a chair because it was too big for me to fit in the chair and I'm a tall guy (6ft 3in). Also, the lids covering the screws/hinges on the chair's armrests aren't really left... since. a few months ago it started to drop from time to time, like a gas raising and lowering the seat. I would sit and it would just start to sink. now it's more common. now one wheel keeps breaking. I will sit in it or move and it will just pop out. I assumed I was ok with this chair and now hated it. If you only need this chair for a short time, go for it. if it's something for everyday use (i use it mostly in the home office, on carpets), i wouldn't buy it again.
