Above average, not perfect

Had high hopes for these. And it works pretty well. It is easy to install and use. And I can work with it with one hand. I particularly liked the spring-loaded clip for easily attaching a cell phone. Just touch it in the middle and the side clips close on the phone. It fits the Galaxy S7 with plenty of room (even in a case), holds the phone very well and is easy to connect to the micro USB or use the side buttons on the phone. You have to be careful when the clips on the side buttons close, but it's easy to learn not to. I also like that you can "mount" the phone higher in the cabin than other systems, but not block the windshield. However, this often blocks other displays or controls. I don't think there is a perfect solution, but this might be the best solution for older cars (Pre-Car Play). And to be honest, Android Car Play has its own very annoying issues as well. I'm not sure who trains application developers or software engineers, but they're not very good at what they do. I'm not sure if this is a CarPlay bug or the apps that interact with it. Probably a bit of both. BUT it can still wobble on rough roads. I'm talking all over the block, with the phone connected. (The phone itself has never fallen out of its clips.) I keep my phone in a case to prevent damage if I drop it. This adds weight to the phone so without a case on the phone this may not be an issue. Loosened on very bad roads. But this is the only time he erupted. A contributing factor may be that I have to mount the phone higher on the clamps to avoid the side buttons on the S7, which shifts the center of gravity higher and helps with rebound on rough roads. So not perfect, but it's one of the best I've found.

  • Very impressive
Cons
