Review on 📞 Cortelco 255400-VBA-27MD 1-Handset Landline Telephone, Black - Efficient Communication Device for Home and Office Use by Jessica Dubois

I am not very impressed with my experience with this product. I first bought a Cortelco in 2012 but it stopped working after about a year so I bought a replacement in 2013. The warranty was expiring so I had to buy a new phone but this one was affordable. I thought that maybe this particular phone dies rarely; Most reviews were great. My replacement lasted almost 2 years but also died. As with the predecessor, it stopped ringing and when I pick up the handset there is no dial tone. If other phones are plugged into the jack they work, so it's not a line. There was also no volume control as advertised. When this finally worked, there was often interference on the line which made the call so difficult to hear that I had to end the call. Not always, maybe 1 in 4 or 5 calls. Sometimes bending the cable and/or standing still helped. When I shop, I want the item to last as long as possible. Often I have something decades before it is replaced. I need to replace this phone and will try my luck with another manufacturer.
