I bought this cable in March 2012 to connect my new Sony laptop to an HDTV. At the time, the cable was $5 + shipping, which I thought was a great price for a 15 foot HDMI cable. Delivery was quick - it arrived before my new laptop which was a pleasant surprise. The cable is decently thick and feels solid. The connector snaps firmly into both my laptop and the TV's HDMI ports. And it stays in place once plugged in. I was concerned that these cheap cables might come with non-standard connectors that wear out quickly, resulting in loose and unreliable connections. I am happy to report that it has been 6 months since purchase and the cable is still working perfectly. The end of the HDTV stays connected, but I unplug the cable from my laptop at least three times a day and it still connects with a satisfying click, like it's new. The quality was excellent and I can output 1080p from my laptop to an HDTV with sound using a single cable. Overall I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone looking for an HDMI cable.
