I love these. I bought a set. I like the nice soft shimmer. use for wedding. I took a picture of my blue curtains behind it so it looks blue but it's soft white and light enough. Just perfect. I used twine to tie the crossbar to secure it in place. For a wedding it is better to use fishing wire (more durable and cleaner). And the packaging is great too! Set the length first. Then, once in place, loosen the ties to allow the onions to hang. STAY IN CONTACT! Do the reverse when removing. Attach the lanterns in the same way. No entanglement that way. It takes a little while, but the better you take care of it, the longer it will last. There are no burned out lights either. The light doesn't come on either. You do not see! After the wedding, white curtains are attached to the daughters' ceiling to create a starry night view. You can hang black or blue curtains on the ceiling first to make it more like a starry night.
