A really terrible mattress pad. Even with a good quality sheet, it's scratchy and uncomfortable, which gives me a terrible itch. I can't say I've ever noticed there was a mattress pad on a bed before because they're usually pretty neutral stuff. Can't miss it! I can't believe "cotton" is actually pure cotton because it's so uncomfortable. I also find it hard to believe that a waterproof membrane is "breathable" or hypoallergenic. It's an ugly plastic material that seems to shed little itchy granules. In addition, the mattress becomes significantly warmer. I bought another (cheaper) brand for another bed at the same time and I have nothing but positive things to say about the other one. I thought I would improve my sleep by purchasing a more luxurious product. Definitely not - I can't sleep with him in bed. Unfortunately it went through the return window before I could use it and then it took me a while to figure out the problem was with the mattress topper. So $70 wasted!
