Review on Sweese 322 101 Porcelain Butter Keeper: The Ultimate Solution for Fresh and Spreadable Butter! by Marcus Hargrave

First things first: I've wanted a butter dome for a long time. This one is gorgeous and absolutely fits the bill. I love softened butter and wanted something different than the traditional butter dish. I bought this and was SO pumped. I followed all the instructions - checked online etc. Unfortunately after a few days my oil got moldy and smelly. I was so disappointed. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but if it's that easy to screw up, I don't want to. Currently this dish is for decoration only and I'm reusing my old oilers as usual. A little background - I work full time from home and have a busy office. After assembling my desk and all my appliances and placing them where I needed them, I discovered that ALL the outlets on this side of the room are controlled by a light switch! This means that when I try to turn off the lights, my 3 computer monitors, ring light, speakers, Alexa, TV, phone charger, webcam, microphone and MUCH MORE don't work. So every time I turn it off, it turns off completely. I bought this lightbulb to complement my Alexa and it has changed my life. I sealed the switch in the ON position and plugged the bulb into the fixture. NOW I can leave my work gear on and control the lights separately!
