In my opinion, swaddling is a must for newborns. We started with regular swaddle blankets, but my baby is like Houdini. He opened every diaper we changed. I first received this diaper as a gift for my newborn (but later I really liked it and bought a larger size). My baby loves this wrap. After 3 months, the newborn's size became tight, so I ordered a large size. That's an odd size. My 3 month old is big for a small/medium size but very small for a large size. After the second drying it was perfect. Now it is not big and not small. This is not a summer day wrap. The child can become very hot. We use it day and night, we have different diapers. But for the night it's the perfect warmth. I recommend this diaper to any parent of a newborn.
