Review on ๐Ÿ’ก JandCase Dimmable Recessed Lighting: Closest Equivalent for Superior Performance by Heather Martin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The price is too high considering the quality and the defects.

EDIT: Customer service is very good, they sent me two replacements after I described my problems. However, I'm only giving it 3 stars due to the unreliability of the remote control, which still holds true given the price. In addition, the replacement devices have also lost the ability to display orange, which I think is the most pleasing hue. Really sucks, they're stuck to that puke green hue and just can't go orange. Now only 3 of the 6 I have can turn orange. Well they are cool and specialized. So true. However, you don't get what you want for the price. Not only does the remote suffer from glitches (e.g. pressing the brightness button can turn the bulb green or pressing the off button can randomly change color), but I received two bulbs with defects that I just noticed. A lightbulb cannot turn orange. Instead, it's this nasty greenish-yellow color. The yellow button makes it greener, which doesn't match the colors of the other bulbs. Really annoying when you want a bunch of orange lighting. The other lamp has this weird black spot in the diffusion cap that I just noticed. I'm not sure if it's probably the LED that came loose and fell off. At the moment it is not worth looking for boxes to return these lamps. Too bad they send defective bulbs. All in all I would say buy yangcsl light bulbs. While not floodlights, they are much brighter, more reliable (response and lamp life), more modular, and less expensive. You get 4 bulbs in a set at a much lower price.
