This humidifier worked great for a few months but broke after 10 months of use. There is a magnetic sensor on the float that stops the machine. The sensor stopped working and the device did not switch off. This caused the water to overflow and ruined part of my hardwood floor. I contacted the company for a replacement and they sent instructions on how to test and test the float mechanism. I have done this and the machine does not stop when filling with water. I have been told that I cannot return the car after the 30 days are up, but I can take it to a repair center in California (but I live in Texas) and I will be responsible for shipping and repair costs. I would not recommend this product to any potential buyer as the product broke within a year and the replacement has yet to be shipped or returned even after contacting support.
