If you buy this product elsewhere (same price at Whole Foods) it comes with a lid and is sealed. The entire Babo line is sealed to prevent unauthorized access and ensure hygiene. The fact that it isn't sealed is a problem, especially when used on a newborn. When I squeezed the pump, I immediately squeezed out the soap cake. When a product is new, you usually have to pump it several times to get the soap out the first time you use it. It can be diluted or filled with something else. I will no longer buy from Revain.
