I love this backpack! I'm a student and originally bought a Jester. After 2 years I decided to upgrade. The Borealis has more space for my books, pens etc. and the felt lining inside protects my laptop much better. There are also straps to really secure my water bottle, which is important because I've had broken and dented water bottles fly out of my Jester backpack. An additional front pocket is ideal for quick access to cash. I didn't feel like buying a second North Face backpack at first, but I'm glad I did. Borealis meets my needs much better and is worth the extra cost!
