Only had them for a few days. I was a fan of the Sony XM3 because of its great sound. These nuraloops sound amazing. Everything - every sound is crisp and clear with a striking presence. The separation of instruments and sound is excellent, the sound stage is wide. The earbud is comfortable for me out of the box. The feeling of a looming kidney falling out of your ear like Sony does is absent from Nuraloops. Landing is quite reliable. I immediately updated the firmware, no problems. I press both earbuds for 3 seconds and can easily turn them on and off. Bluetooth connects easily and I can seamlessly switch between my iPhone and Mac. The only problem I've had so far, albeit a small one, is the cable that connects the two earbuds. The charging station on the back rubs against the sofa and sometimes makes some noise. I will more than accept this small concern given the great music coming from these Nuraloops. There are many good headphones out there that do a great job. Nuraloops aren't a necessity when it comes to good sound. If you are a musical perfectionist (like I kind of think) you will really enjoy the amazing sound of these phones. Keep you posted as I make progress with them. Update 9/10/20: These nuraloops are in a class of their own. There is nothing like it. I have found a sweet spot with my personal profile and there is no going back.
