Functionally this hub/adapter is exactly what I need and need. I connect it to my work laptop, I have two HDMI cables going from the hub to my two additional monitors. I plugged my headphones into the headphone jack on the hub, which works better than on my laptop as it's audio only on my laptop while on the hub it's both audio and mic, so no crazy hangout configurations. BUT! The two monitors connected to this hub regularly go black in two different ways: 1. The screens go black, usually when I'm using Netflix, but also at any other random time, e.g. B. while writing this review or in the middle of a virtual meeting. They can come back in a second or two, sometimes they take longer to come back and I have to unplug the hub to get all my programs on my laptop's working screen. Keep in mind that this issue does not affect my laptop, only the monitors connected to the hub.2. Sometimes the screens lose the "connection" completely and go black, but instead of coming back I get a message that they can't detect a video signal and turn off. As I write this, I switched one of my monitors from a hub to connect directly to my laptop and turned on Netflix. And as expected, the only monitor connected to the hub is the one that was turned off and eventually turned back on. It really makes things worse, especially if it happens in the middle of an important conversation or meeting. The problem is definitely hub related, just don't know why or how.
