This chair with headrest was very easy to put together. The backrest is attached to the seat with two guide pins, then two screws and washers connect the two parts firmly together. Four legs are made of metal and are each attached with four screws. This is a simple assembly that results in a beautiful and durable chair. The padding is well attached and looks like it will last a long time. Unfortunately, this chair reminds me of a pretty girl in high school who was also a sociopath. The stool has a rather noticeable "new cushion" smell. I think it will go away in a few days. UPDATE: It's been three days and my wife won't let me keep it at home. I've tried releasing gas on the street in the sun but to no avail. I put it in the garage and when I sit on the chair in the garage my head starts to hurt. The noxious fumes must have altered my genetic code already. The back of the chair is very comfortable to relax in, the angle of the chair just begs me to relax in this chair. Update: The sociopath's charm is a lie. I think this chair is trying to kill me. Seat with thin padding. After only sitting in it for an hour, I'm pretty sure I need to add a pillow to sit on. Update: The seat of this chair has open cell foam padding about an inch and a half thick. I can say that it is cheap open cell foam padding as it has barely turned into foam padding after about two hours of sitting. Now I feel like I'm on a park bench. Maybe a little better, it's like sitting on a park bench on a towel. It's not convenient. And it smells. And fizzy stuff probably poisons me because it gives me a headache. I want to burn this chair but I'm afraid I'll be arrested for environmental crimes. This is not the best value for money. I think this will last forever and I will regret every day I spend with this chair. Hopefully this doesn't cause permanent respiratory damage. I'm ashamed of this chair, but I don't know how to fix this catastrophic failure. This would make a very nice gift for a former divorce attorney.
