Review on ๐Ÿ”Š Industrial Safety Work Earbuds - Mipeace Noise Isolating Earbud Headphones, OSHA Approved for Construction and Workplace by Lauren Negron

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great isolation, average sound, well worth it

UPDATE: After using them for a month or two I'm less impressed. The shape of the headphones is oval, and often this oval shape does not fit the ear very well. Ultimately, you have to twist the earcup, push in, and twist again. and so on until you get it in accordance. And unfortunately, these headphones are uncomfortable after prolonged use. I'm not sure what they are, but when they finally fit properly, they're not very comfortable. Sometimes my ears itch because they sit so far in the ear, sometimes the pressure between the ears is uneven. Generally, they do a good job of blocking out noise, but if that means they're uncomfortable to wear in the process, they're almost useless for 30+ minutes. One star for the ability to block out noise, one star for not breaking, and I've used them in all sorts of activities. Minus 2 for being uncomfortable (considering they should be comfortable if you use them for a long period of time) and minus 1 for being difficult to put on. FIRST RATING: Sound quality on par with other cheap headphones. Bass is ok, highs are ok, few mids and overall not the best sound profile compared to more expensive headphones. But you don't buy them for that. They have impressive soundproofing, probably closer to a 25dB reduction. At 28 dB, they are not as good as my 3M EAR Push-In Foam Earplugs. 3M makes EAR rubber ear tips that look exactly like this and are rated at 25dB. For something with a speaker, however, they do the job perfectly, and I'm not sure they could do much better without active noise cancellation. Add some calm music and they will do the job just fine. Time will tell how comfortable and durable they are. At $18 they are worth it.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Minor issues
