First of all, this thing has a TON of sounds. While it's great to have options, I think it has two downsides: 1) if you want to use more than one sound you have to switch between all the other sounds, although I like that you can move forward or backward. in loop & 2) Some of the sounds are pretty awful. If there are people sleeping to some of these sounds I would be SHOCKED. As a white noise street car for my 15 month old, however, it will be great. We're currently taking his full-size Hatch car with us everywhere, and while it's not much, it takes up a ton of space. The charger needs to be fully plugged in to charge, but there is an indicator light. I thought I put it in correctly, but when the light didn't come on, I pressed firmly again and it fully connected, so keep that in mind. It seemed to me that I was being too strict in this regard, but that is what is needed.
