I have used about three brands of crib mattress pads. This is by far my favorite and the one I always go to unless they are all dirty and I need to use a lower brand. Pros: Soft top - some are scratchy but not this one! It's very soft, like a nice cozy sheet. It stretches well and easily over the crib. Another brand doesn't cover the entire top of the mattress and another has a mesh tear from being stretched. There are no problems with this. Easy to clean. resists hot water and dehydration. The price is very reasonable. Cons: UPDATE: My 3 year old went potty training in the middle of the night not wearing underwear. In the morning I found him sleeping with his buttocks bare and dry and let him lie there until he woke up. Unfortunately he peed and the mattress was wet too. So it may leak if the quantity is big enough. Still my favorite of my 3 brands and have been using them for 4 years BUT now I don't trust them unless the boys are wearing briefs.
