This is the perfect solution for those of us who want to use a PC without a sound card. A simple USB Type-A plug on one end and a 3.5mm stereo jack on the other, so you can plug in a set of PC speakers or a microphone or (as in my case) a set of in-ear headphones Cannot connect HP Microserver with no sound card installed. This cable plugged in and worked on Windows 10. This is a great non-technical solution for those looking for a microphone or sound output on a PC device that doesn't already offer an output if a spare USB port is available. Use the free USB slot and you're done! Great for those who aren't tech savvy or for those of us just looking for a quick and easy fix. I am currently using the cable as a headphone output on my home HTPC/Media. Server, just for the sake of simplicity. The sound quality is excellent, both for movies and music, and this is the real test! Chip Realtek b error was detected almost immediately. I recommend!
