Review on WELLAND Floating Shelves Display Deeper by Anna Daughtry

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is a nice shelf but I would make an improvement.

I have an old house with 16 inch studs. The steel bracket that you attach to the wall does not have holes spaced 16 inches apart. So when I use the included bracket I can only put one screw in the stud. (And the screws to attach the studs are not included). No, it seems to me that this type of shelf is much better when supported by a stand and much better when supported by two. So I decided to drill another hole in the steel support to attach the strut to the two studs. I'm confused as to why the regiment hasn't come here yet. But once I drilled that second hole, the rest of the shelves were easy to install. (I tried using the third hole to use the included anchors, but it didn't really work. I assume they were for drywall - and they didn't work well with my 1937 plaster room. So while I was doing this third used first, the anchor doesn't really do anything other than give me a hole in the wall if I ever remove the shelf.
