This is a well made beautiful blanket. I love it. I was hesitant because of the cost because there were so many more options at a lower price but not because of the quality it offers. It will take years if not generations. The cotton fabric is thick enough that you know it won't come cheap, but the blanket's overall thickness makes it ideal for year-round use with layered blankets for extra warmth in the winter. We have a Cal King bed, which I was also skeptical about fitting properly, but the design matches the edges of the bed perfectly, and the length hangs down just long enough to perfectly cover the depth of the mattress plus about 6 inches of touch the floor and you can still use the bed skirt if you like. All in all a lovely well made duvet and I am now not disappointed with the price as I think it is a great investment in a long lasting duvet.
