I've been making masks with a variety of wires, both purchased and assembled, for about a month now and I far prefer these wires. They are a good thickness and length to fit the mask well, the plastic offers a bit more stability so they don't twist like bare metal wire when washed, but still bend easily to fit by hand. I've made over 100 masks with it so far and the only issue I've noticed is that there is sometimes a tiny bit of wire sticking out the side of the plastic that can snag on the fabric when glued but takes an extra few minutes. Care when inserting seems sufficient, deal with it normally. I would definitely recommend and will order again when my stock is gone.
