That seems to be the case with all COB headlights. A large gap can also be clearly seen in the "blue" range between 450 and 500 nm. I immediately noticed a color change compared to my other traditional high CRI LED strips. They appear crimson-white and "fluorescent" in color rather than a pleasing warm white. Technically, they don't lie on the blackbody locus. I soldered some known quality LEDs with a high CRI of 3000K (you can see the part number) and you can see them on the second picture. You have CCT = 3000K, CRI or Ra > 90 and are within a 3-step McAdam ellipse, within the VU binning the center of the ellipse has CIE_x = 0.4338 and CIE_y = 0.4030. You can clearly see the performance difference between 450nm and 500nm (blue area on the CD).
