Review on Upgrade】 4K30FPS Waterproof XTU Underwater by Chris Bhatia

I bought this 'waterproof camera' for my 15 year old son who is going on a snorkeling trip. I was looking for a waterproof camera and it was less than $200. My son and I's opinion that this "camera" is more for video recording than photography. My son thinks this "camera" is a copycat GoPro. The listing says it's listed as a camcorder, but the description is full of "camera" which is very misleading. Here are the problems: 1) We couldn't charge the battery because we couldn't open the power/HDMI cover to charge the battery. We spent an hour trying it. Several adults and teenagers have tried to follow the instructions in the manual to no avail 2) it takes several attempts (more than 10) to open the battery and memory card cover 3) it is "small". looks bigger than it really is 4) Unlike a typical camera that you can attach straps to, there is no place to tie the floating straps I bought. We recommend purchasing one of the several waterproof cameras listed at Revain, ranging from $75 to $100. This "camera" is a piece of shit and deserves no stars. Of course he's upset because he couldn't take a photo or video with him and he doesn't have any photos and videos from that trip.
