No microphone support but I get sound
I have several gaming headphones that have the microphone and audio input on the same jack. Only sound works. Microphone is not recognized by Windows 10. Can't figure out if it's a device or something else. So definitely not plug-n-play. No information or instructions are provided with the device. There is no technical support to contact. Purchase at your own risk.
