I'll start by liking this controller. As this is a 3rd party controller it feels good, the controller weight is perfect, the looks are perfect and the analog sticks don't feel stiff which is usually an issue with 3rd party controllers but not this one . I don't know why either, but L2 and R2 triggers seem more solid. Now it's going to be weird to rate it because I have three, mainly because of some issues with the controller, big for what I'm using it for. I play a lot with friends and record my gameplay for reviews and such, but you can't record yourself with this controller and its audio ports because while everything sounds fine through your headphones after the recording, the controller breaks all the audio on the console together recording as well as in PSN party chat. This isn't the only headset I've tried. I've used a Sony branded headset, Tritton headset and Turtle Beach and they all had the same result. Also all made the sound very loud. In addition, the battery life is very questionable. I felt like I would charge it all day and it died an hour after three full charges, after which it stayed on for hours but was nervous about the battery life. Maybe I just have a bad battery, who knows, but I'll say for the price it's not bad, but be aware that party chats are played back and encrypted with questionable battery life.
