I bought this for my son's birthday and immediately pumped it up to make sure it didn't leak. It was quick and easy to inflate with the help of an electric vacuum and appears to be quite well made. Anyway, he made it through the whole evening with the 3 year old who played with him. He's definitely not 63 inches tall. I'm 5ft 3in, which is you guessed it, 63in, and he's nowhere near my height. . I measured it and it's 57 or 58 inches, which doesn't really matter to me, but just put it there. My guess is that his length from head to tip of tail is probably 63 inches, which doesn't match the overall height. It smells incredibly strongly of plastic. After 24 hours in a 3,000-square-foot house, we can smell it from almost every room, including upstairs while it's downstairs. We'll be using it outdoors so this isn't an issue, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for indoor use. I don't know if the smell will ever go away. I'm happy with it, although of course my son likes it.
