Review on πŸ’‘ EShine White Finish LED Dimmable Under Cabinet Lighting Kit with Hand Wave Activation - Touchless Dimming Control, Cool White (6000K) by Austin Hampton

Very good solution for closet lighting.

We loved how easy it was to install and how well it worked right out of the box. We liked the warm white light (3000K) best. I used 3m double sided tape because we have custom made solid wood cabinets and didn't want to drill holes in them. I cut small 2" strips instead of using all the tape that came with it and attached them to each end of the fasteners and it works great! very very long! I want them to have velcro tape on one side on the other side. In this way, the lightbar can be easily replaced in the event of a later failure. With tape, it takes some force to remove them from the cabinets. We installed 3 inches from the back of the cabinet and it seemed to have good lighting, but it wasn't "in your face". The motion sensor seems to work fine, when working underneath it doesn't work. I just hope this feature lasts a long time because removing the light from the band can be a chore. (You can reverse the wiring to the first light and install the switch if it ever fails.) The wires are very easy to hide using the hooks provided, but using just one wire in those hooks won't secure it firmly. and can slack between jigs which wasn't a problem for us. However, due to the length of the cabinets, we initially purchased three 20" (oblong) lights, but they were too bright for our needs. We bought it for general lighting and ambient use and did not attempt to use it as task lighting or To use kitchen lighting. Three 12" lights are much better for this, although they're still very bright for our needs. We could use half the brightness and we'd be fine, but I know most of them look very bright overall we really like them and have ordered a 6 counter version for our other cabinets to be installed soon edit: just been informed that the company has released a new dimmable version!
