Just received this today and so far so good. I took it straight out of the box and it works. I developed tennis elbow as a result of playing tennis and swimming. The basic packaging was useless. Now I understand why. Here, the gel pad placed on the outside of my forearm, just below the elbow, puts some pressure on the sore spot and helps relieve it. Now that I forget and use my right hand, the pain is minimal. Happy with it and highly recommend. FYI: Read the directions on the box. The large fold-out manual inside is practically useless. The guy is tiny and the instructions apply to all of their products. You must look for this one. Easy to use and clean.
