Good radio except for very poor AM reception. Bought a radio to listen to AM sports and talk radio. The reception is really bad, I put it next to my old Panasonic AM/FM radio which hears these stations crystal clear. J-288 received almost no stations and was very noisy. FM radio and Bluetooth are very clear and work well. At the moment I'm thinking about returning it for a refund as it doesn't match my original reason for buying it. Update, tech support contacted me and offered a free radio with better AM reception. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it didn't turn on properly. I appreciate your attempt to fix the problem but have decided to return the J-288 and find another radio with better reception. The J-288 has a lot of bad AM reception reviews that I'd like to read before trying it out. I think that's why tech support agreed to give me another radio. But at the end of the day, this is a $24 radio with many useful features not found in more expensive radios.
