Review on Theater Solutions Rechargeable Bluetooth Wirelessly Home Audio by Travis Coffman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well built, surprisingly good

First of all, these aren't flimsy plastic frames - they're all metal frames. The speaker itself is made of hard plastic, but it's durable. It is very easy to assemble and connect to the phone and each other. Charging requires some action. You'll need to charge everyone, so consider buying a multi-port charging adapter with four USB-C charging cables so you can charge them all at the same time. Otherwise, replacing the cable will be a headache. The battery life is about 4 hours. I want them to last longer. So I bought an Anker PowerCore 10000mAh Pocket Powerbank that lasts over 8 hours, just velcroed it to the top of the device and plugged it in and now they last a very long time, all day and night. In our case, this continued throughout the wedding and the entire party that followed. (By the way, plug in the power bank before turning it on so it will pull down.) I believe you can leave it plugged in all the time based on my experience with the power bank, but I haven't tried it. The sound is pretty solid. You won't blow them up like a giant speaker, but that's not the purpose or atmosphere. The transmission from speaker to speaker is 100% in sync when walking between them - a really solid implementation. I think they are worth the money. I'd like to see solar panels in it so I don't have to charge it - that would be Nirvana.
