All the lights should be like this! I needed a short garland for a children's Christmas tree. First I got this: http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00LGJTALO. It was too short, but the light weight, easy installation with a flexible metal wire, and the fact that you don't have to plug it in (you can just hide the battery compartment in or behind a tree) won me over. it was what i needed. I thought this item was just perfect: perfect length, remote control to make it flicker, and at the right price! The attached picture shows how easy it was to leave a light at the very top of the tree. Two strings (solid blue and sparkling multi) are on the tree. We will get more of these to light up kids scooters and bikes at night. What a find! I doubt it would be any good outdoors as the battery compartment doesn't appear to be waterproof.
