Review on πŸ‘— Lark & Ro Women's A-Line Dress with Pockets - Sleeveless, Belted, Crew Neck Design by Elizabeth Sautner

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Wrinkles, drawstring, weird belt

I'm 5ft 2cm, 34 inches, about 130 pounds, I usually wear a size 6. I'm a size 10 based on reviews that said it runs small fits perfectly in the sense that it wasn't too big or too small (a bit loose in the shoulders but I have small bones and things are ALWAYS loose). right on my shoulders). I stepped inside and it closed immediately and I was comfortable. Basically, I'm a little flattered by this – I usually look good in A-line items. It fitted my waist well and was a good length, just above the knee. But I'm sending it back for three reasons.1. I received it in port color and in person it is darker and muddy than it looked on my screen and therefore looks gaudy and vintage to me. 2. The belt does not match the size of the dress at all. The belt loops are approximately 3 inches wide and the belt itself is closer to 1.5 inches wide and does not tie as usual. It's too thick to tie a bow and there are no buckles or anything to tie it like a belt. If you have this, you will likely need to cut off the belt loops and discard the belt. 3. There are fun creases on the front, especially where there isn't anything pinching or pulling underneath (like my body). It's just a bad stab. A person looking at me would have thought I was a stuffed animal filled with balloons. The lining is silky and comfortable, the weight seems right for all but the hottest of days, the zip fits me well and I loved the pockets. I was hoping to use it for teaching (teaching adults) on warm days, but the thought of putting it on and going out with it made me sad. I thought it would age me 10 years. I think black hides wrinkles better. If you only want to wear it to work and you don't mind if it's a little gaudy, go for it. I would say two sizes bigger.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • A little wrinkled
