The medium size is still rather long and tight for someone just below 5'3". I'm 110 lbs. I can fit in it but need to be a little careful pulling it up so as not to tear anything in the waistband. This may expand in water, I don't know but the biggest concern is the need to have some type of thick bottoms inside the tights if you are conscious about cracks and lines showing. Since I got the merlot color, the folds/lines are quite obvious. Maybe I should have gotten the black? I just got this 2 days ago. Still on the fence whether I should keep or return.
