Review on Fox Run 597844 6283 Silicon Rooster: The Perfect Kitchen Companion for Ultimate Cooking Convenience by Doug Virden

I bought this as part of an inside joke with my mother-in-law. She always says she doesn't need presents, so when asked what she wants, she says "Nothing". So we decided to buy her chicken products as if she were a chicken fanatic. Eventually she will have enough of these items that other people will assume that this is the theme she chose and start buying her chicken themed items. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by this spoon holder. I'll admit since it was part of the fun I didn't actually buy it to use. However, it works great and the funny thing is that she uses it all the time. It sits comfortably on top of the pot while you cook and holds the spoon comfortably, freeing up kitchen space, no longer need a spoon holder for the countertop. If you have plastic/silicone spoons with big handles this might not be as useful, but for a good old fashioned wooden spoon it's great.
