As a coach and mother of a volleyball player, I highly recommend my first line players wear ankle braces. I came across them a few years ago and some of my players bought them because we got a good deal and wore the Adidas uniform. These braces are great, they offer good support but are lightweight and not bulky like typical volleyball braces. My daughter lost her first pair and we tried to buy another brand in store, she tried on every pair in store and it didn't fit. She said they were too bulky, causing her shoes to stick out or restrict her movement. We decided to order another pair of these Adidas suspenders for them and once again they did not disappoint. They are made of high quality materials and can last for several seasons. They are also very easy to put on; You put them on like a sock and secure them with Velcro. There's a piece of plastic that slides in from the outside for extra grip, and you can take her off if you want, but she uses hers.
