Review on Braun MQ7035X 3-in-1 Immersion Hand Blender, 500W Stainless Steel Stick Blender, Variable Speed, 2-Cup Food Processor, Whisk, Beaker, High Quality Faster, Finer Blending, MultiQuick by Juan Patel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Braun is my favorite hand blender for a reason.

I fall in love with this Braun MultiQuick all over again every morning. For those who don't know, there's this thing called Bulletproof Coffee. I make it for breakfast, mostly coffee with butter (grass-fed) and coconut oil (MTC). It's really good and healthy but it needs to be mixed because oil and water don't mix well lol. I use my Braun for this every morning, but that's not all. I have used the Braun MultiQuick to make mayonnaise and many other things and it has always worked great. It's really worth the money, period. But read on, I have a lot to say ;) I've been using all 3 versions of MultiQuick for years, which I'll just call 5, 7 and 9. They come in different packages with different accessories, but the main unit itself really only has 3 options. This rating is out of 7 and this is the one I currently have. 7 is my favorite too! The 9 is great but it's expensive and totally over the top for just mainly drinking coffee lol, plus it has a safety button at the top that you have to press before the shutter goes off. I don't have any kids so this security button just annoys me, but I imagine a lot of people will appreciate this feature a lot more than I do. 5 is also a great device and it still works perfectly after 5+ years and has enough power, even mayonnaise is no problem. I wanted to upgrade because 5 is nothing special and only has 2 speeds, plus 5 technically belongs to my former roommate. 7 fits me perfectly like I'm goldilocks and that's 3 bear blenders. One of the reasons I love Braun MultiQuick Blenders so much is that they designed the unit around the blades to redirect power downwards. I think they called it a "modified bell shape" somewhere and you get it on all models, 5, 7 and 9. It actually does a lot to help this blender outperform others. First, the power descent means that unlike other hand blenders, it doesn't try to suck all the way down and stay there with a lot of suction power to the point where you might have to slow the blender down or stop to get it back up. and finish the job. Another thing that is noticeable when using other hand blenders for coffee or other aqueous liquids is that they twist in and out of the jar quite easily because the blades shoot the liquid out quite hard. When using Braun I only have to use one glass jar and never have to worry about my coffee spilling over the kitchen counter (unless I overfill it of course! LOL). So of course I would recommend the Braun MultiQuick any day of the week and although I haven't tried all the other brands I've tried a lot when traveling or with friends and they always disappoint and I appreciate the Braun MultiQuick more and more after listing them.
