Civilians using Sawfly as general outdoor eye protection in the high desert areas of northern Nevada. The Revision Military Sawfly oversized goggle fits my 7 7/8 canopy which gives me good frontal protection, the nose piece fits almost perfectly and the strap is easy to adjust when needed and effortlessly detaches when I don't need the strap . . The brow portion of the frame does not irritate the skin and helps keep the lens in a stable position. There's no noticeable in-lens distortion, and the sunny gray tone works well in daylight, except on heavily overcast days when it gets too dark and shadow detail disappears. The entire system has been designed and manufactured to perfectly suit my needs and usage, including strong windy days. And I really wanted the large size in black but Amazon said they were out of stock so I ordered the Sawfly Basic Solar Large-Foliage Green. I was very surprised when I opened the package and saw that the revision box said 'Basic Large BLACK Solar' and that's exactly what was in the box! conrad
