Luckily it's pretty obvious that those are the wrong screws or I might damage the parts. I'll call them tomorrow and see what they have to say. Edited to add: Turns out they didn't drill the holes in Part G wide enough so the screws couldn't fall on the edge. After expanding the entrance, I was able to finish assembling the closet. I didn't think it would be particularly difficult to assemble the cabinet. It took me a while to study the diagram to make sure the parts were in the right direction. Some parts are not marked. The back is 2 pieces of very thin board connected by a piece of plastic which screams cheap. The shelf pins are also plastic, but the body is solid wood. I've tried replacing the shelf pins with ¼ inch pins but they fall out because the hole is larger than ¼ inch. Then I tried 7mm which was all I could get but they were too big for the hole. I contacted Teamson and they said they had NO parts to ship which to me is shocking for a company that sells furniture. So if you lose a screw, you're out of luck. There is a template to help with hanging but it wasn't mine. I used a Milwaukee ratchet screwdriver and had no problem splitting wood. need another shelf.
