This is one of the few amazing miracle cures I have come across in my life. This has been my main/base lotion for face and neck since the first days of use 9 years ago (when I was 41). This fixed some age related discoloration I had on the sides of my face *for 2 days*. My facial skin is flawless and more even in texture (at 50) than before using Neoteric 10% Glycol Lotion{2}. It makes my skin smoother, tighter and I have fewer occasional breakouts. When I loosen up my skincare routine the next time I use it, my skin is visibly brighter and more even throughout the day. Now for the miracle: I have keratosis follicularis and my battle with dead skin cells on my face was over with this lotion. . Those who do not have follicular keratosis {1} should understand that scrubbing with cotton swabs, ground almonds, or other abrasives is not necessary; no lots of drinking water, moisturizing lotion, or other "your skin looks dry" solutions; no oatmeal, pumpkin, cucumber, Dead Sea mud or other masks; and no amount of salicylic, lactic, malic, or other skin-flaking chemicals (over-the-counter only) has spared me the nightmarish daily struggle to slough off dead skin without damaging my face. I fought for 25 years and suddenly the fight was over. Wonder. This is a medium weight lotion, but it spreads well, although it doesn't absorb very quickly. It's too heavy to wear under makeup, but I often get groundless and just apply a few drops of powder (yes, there are still those greasy spots), and yes, my skin tone is good enough to deal with to get along with eyeshadow. , mascara and lipstick and without base. I think it's a product, not a day makeup lotion. There are probably other products that work just as well, but not at the same price. For me there is no La Mer. I'm not rich.{1} I don't know if all people with keratosis follicularis (KF) have this facial skin problem. Every resource I've found on KP only deals with the goose bump factor. Both of my daughters have CP and issues with facial peeling.{2} I've been told I look like I'm 40 and I attribute that primarily to this lotion. I will try to post pictures without makeup.
